Free Consultations

Every matter starts with a conversation that costs nothing. Bring your documents, ask your questions, and leave knowing your options.

Award Winning Firm

Harrisburg Magazine readers and judges have named the firm and both partners Simply the Best and Readers' Choice winners year after year since 2020.

Owner-Level Attention

The attorneys who own the firm are the ones on your matter. Daniel and Ethan work on or oversee every file, in every area we practice.

Who We Are

Two Partners With Complementary Practices

Daniel R. Jameson and Ethan K. Stone had known each other for years before they formed Jameson Stone in 2018, and they built it so their practices would cover what clients actually need. Daniel handles business law, real estate, and estate planning. Ethan handles personal injury and criminal defense, including DUI, and works on estate, real estate, and business matters as well. Between them they have counseled clients in thousands of matters and litigated in both state and federal court.

That range matters when a legal problem refuses to stay in one category. A business sale turns into an estate question. A car accident turns into an insurance dispute. Because Daniel and Ethan are personally involved in every file, the attorney who knows your matter is the one who answers the phone. Where something falls outside what we practice, we will tell you and point you to a lawyer who handles it.

Practice Areas

Practice Areas Across Central Pennsylvania

These are the areas we practice, and in each one the work is done by an owner of the firm. Daniel and Ethan divide it according to their own practices, and each of them works on or oversees every matter in his areas. You are dealing with the attorney responsible for the outcome, not whoever the file was passed to.

Criminal Defense

Misdemeanor and felony charges, from arrest through trial, defended in the county courts where the case will actually be heard.

DUI Defense

First offenses through repeat charges, including the blood testing and license consequences that decide most of these cases.

Personal Injury

Collisions, falls, dog attacks, and commercial vehicle crashes, where the insurance position often matters as much as the fault does.

Real Estate

Purchases, sales, and leases, with our own attorneys acting as closing agents and discounted title insurance as Approved Attorneys.

Estate Planning/Administration

Wills, powers of attorney, and the documents deciding who acts for you, plus administering an estate when somebody has to.

Business Law

Formation, contracts, and disputes, for businesses that would rather settle the structure before anything gets tested.

Our Team

Every matter goes to the attorney whose practice covers it, not to whoever happens to be free. Daniel or Ethan stays with the file from the first meeting through to the day it closes, supported by the settlement and paralegal work that keeps it moving.

What Clients Say About Us

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions that come up most in first conversations, answered plainly. If yours is not here, ask it on the form and someone from the firm will get back to you.

Criminal defense, DUI defense, personal injury, real estate, estate planning and administration, and business law. Daniel Jameson leads the business, real estate, and estate planning work. Ethan Stone leads criminal defense, DUI, and personal injury, and also handles estate, real estate, and business matters. If a question falls outside those areas, the firm will say so plainly and point you toward someone who does handle it.

It depends on the matter, and you will know before the work begins. The firm offers fixed price billing, project billing, flat fee work, and traditional retainers. Defined work like a will, an LLC formation, or a residential closing usually prices as a flat fee. Litigation is harder to predict, so the firm sets out the structure and the likely range at the consultation instead of letting a meter run in the background.

The firm works across Central Pennsylvania from its office on East Trindle Road in Camp Hill, which puts it close to the courthouses and county offices where most of its matters are filed. Real estate closings can be scheduled at whatever time and place suits the parties, so distance is rarely the constraint people expect it to be. If you are unsure whether your matter falls inside the firm’s area, call and ask.

Anything that documents the matter. For a criminal or DUI charge, that means the citation, the police paperwork, and any court notices. For an injury claim, bring the accident report, medical records, and correspondence from the insurer. For a business or real estate matter, bring contracts, deeds, and prior agreements. If you cannot find something, come anyway. Part of the first meeting is working out what still needs to be gathered.

Why Clients Choose Us

Why Clients Choose Jameson Stone Law

We work alongside the other people advising you rather than around them. Your accountant, your financial advisor, your insurance agent, your realtor, all working from the same facts as your attorney, because a legal problem rarely sits neatly apart from the rest of your affairs.

Our commitment is that the owners of the firm are the ones doing your legal work, and that we are accessible, responsive, and upfront about anticipated costs. The billing arrangement is settled at the consultation rather than accumulating quietly in the background.
